An Additional Day!
Because our community responded with volunteer support (THANK YOU), we have been able to add another day to our Food Pantry distribution availability!
Starting Saturday, November 15th, our Food Pantry will be open from 10:00-2:00! If you struggle to come during the week, come on Saturday!

Our Neighbors and Students Need Us More than Ever
In the last month alone, our Food Pantry has experienced a 36% increase in the number of households needing food.
Every LHISD school has students going hungry over the long weekends, so we're packing Blessing Bags with 3 meals and 8-10 snacks. And for the Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks, those bags will be bigger.
How can you help?

Grocery Bags

We are experiencing record numbers of individuals and families getting assistance from our food pantry. While we're HAPPY to serve them, it's created a bag shortage.
Do you have any bags at home? Do you usually recycle them at the grocery store? Would you be willing to collect bags in your church or neighborhood?
If you answered "yes" to any of the questions above, would you be willing to bring them to OLH? Please and thank you!
Be a Part of Helping Your Community!

A California native, Maureen moved here 8 years ago. She's married and is a doting, involved champion of her 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Maureen began volunteering at OLH when we moved to our current location almost 7 years ago. She works tirelessly, leading the fun-loving crew in our Donations & Sort area. Maureen is always willing to lend a hand and is easily bribed with Rocky Road candy bars and chocolate. We are so grateful for Maureen's heart, her love of Jesus, dedication and sense of humor.

Our Core Values
Our core values are what everything we do - and say - here at Operation Liberty Hill is based upon; everything from our Mission Statement, Vision Statement, programs, services, even day-to-day operations are all founded upon the six statements below.
1. Christ Centered - We start with Jesus. He is the Cornerstone of our mission, our decisions, our relationships. We exist to serve in His name and for His glory. (I Cor 10:31)
2. Integrity - We operate with honesty, ethics, and transparency. Every dollar, every donation, every decision is made with stewardship in mind. (1 Peter 4:10)
3. Love in Action - We demonstrate Christ’s love not just in words, but through compassionate service—helping people when and where they need it most. (1 John 3:18)
4. Community Partnership - We believe lasting change happens when we work together—with local organizations, churches, and individuals—to strengthen and uplift our entire community. (Heb 10:24)
5. Servant Leadership - We lead with humility, putting others’ needs before our own. That’s what keeps us grounded and effective. (Phil 2:3–4)
6. Empowerment - We don’t just meet immediate needs—we equip our neighbors with the knowledge, skills, and resources to build financial stability and long-term independence.
